The Magistrate’s Court has jurisdiction to issue criminal arrest warrants for all rimes, felonies and misdemeanors. The Magistrate Court all issues private or individual warrants for misdemeanor offenses. Another resource for searching for criminal records in Troup County is the Troup County Clerk of Court. The Clerk of Court maintains the records of all court documents for both Superior and State Courts within Troup County. Unfortunately, court records for criminal cases are not accessible only and can only be searched by visiting the Clerk’s Office also located at the Troup County Government Center.
