Crime Statistics of Tift County, GA

In 2019, the Tift County Police filed nearly 920 criminal cases, as opposed to the 1600 crimes handled in the previous year. These included 20 crimes against property and 10 crimes against persons.

Of the property crimes, almost 590 were larceny thefts, more than 120 were burglaries, and nearly 50 were motor vehicle thefts. Of the violent crimes reported, over 125 were aggravated assaults, 15 were rapes and 21 were robberies.
