Crime Statistics of Catoosa County, GA

In 2019, the Catoosa Sheriff’s Office received nearly 1150 criminal complaints, as opposed to the almost 1300 cases received in 2018. These included over 1130 property crimes and around 110 violent crimes.

The property crimes category included nearly 850 larceny thefts, over 100 burglaries, and 100 motor vehicle thefts. The violent crimes category included 84 aggravated assaults, 18 rapes, and around 10 robberies.

A crime occurred approximately every six hours in Catoosa County between 2001 and 2008. During those years, the total crimes reported for the county totaled 10,758, with only 664 of those crimes being violent. The highest crime rates for that period occurred during 2005 and 2007 when reported crime rates for the county totaled over 2000 each year.
