Jackson County, GA handles arrest warrants just like most other Georgia counties – – they begin with the Magistrate. The Magistrate’s Office is responsible for issuing criminal arrest warrants after finding probable cause for the warrant. Criminal History Record Information must be written on an approved form and requested through the Sheriff’s Office’s Central Records Division. Documents may be submitted at the Sheriff’s Office located at 555 General Jackson Drive, Jefferson, GA 30549 during business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.
